The Campus Center (CC) building consists of two main building parts, the IRC and the ICC.

Information Resource Center (IRC)

From the visitor perspective, this is the building part "behind" the glass door in the foyer. The IRC department is located here, plus one member from Facility Management.

International Conference Center (ICC)

From the visitor perspective, this is all else. Especially including the foyer, the shops in the basement, the two large conference halls in east and west wing, and the conference room in the west wing.

Room Numbers

Schema

Though confusing, the room numbers do follow a scheme. As an example, CC 3-256 means:

  • CC: it is in the Campus Center building. There is no information, if this is within the IRC or ICC.
  • 3-: it is on the third floor. (lightbulb) counting floors starts in the basement with floor 1; (green star) mind the mezzanine floor (3rd floor) between the entrance level (2nd floor) and the library level (4th floor).
  • 2: it is within the middle building part. 1 would be the west wing, 3 the east wing, see table below.
  • 56: room number 56. There is no easy way to immediately know, where it is.

Floor Overview

(thumbs down) The button labels in the elevators do not correspond to the floor numbers as in the building plans. Here is a short reference:
